Reminder: Tomorrow is the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Roberts’ Reads!

We are excited to welcome our newest Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce member Roberts’ Reads! 📚🎉🥳

📚Roberts’ Reads is a new, locally owned bookstore owned and operated by Marissa Roberts and Felicia Roberts. The shop is located at 📍201 Logan Street, Williamson, WV. (former location of the Friendly Barbershop for many years)

✂️🎉Join us on Saturday, September 12th at noon as we help them celebrate their Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. 🎉🎈

The owners explained, “We are a women-owned business and will have a wide selection of new books in a variety of genres, along with a smaller selection of used and pre-loved books. We will also carry fun book-related merchandise and gifts, including bookmarks, stickers, candles, totes, cups, handmade items and more. If we don’t have the book someone is looking for, we are also able to order books for our customers.

One of the things we are really looking forward to is making Roberts Reads’ more than just a place to buy books. As we get established, we would love to host book clubs, author visits, book signings and other events that bring readers and the community together.”

✅Be sure to follow their FB page for updates!

Thank you to Roberts Reads’ for your investment in the TVCC and our region!

From First National Bank of Williamson

Meet Rachel Strunk, Chief Operating Officer of First National Bank of Williamson!

Rachel joined First National Bank for the opportunity to strengthen community banking while making a meaningful difference in the lives of customers and associates. She is passionate about building people-first workplaces, modernizing complex systems and empowering women to speak up at tables where they may have once felt unqualified to sit.

"I've put in a lot of hard work and personal sacrifice to get here. I'm stepping into this chapter with a clear sense of purpose and alignment, focused on the work ahead and the impact I intend to make," Rachel said.

Outside of banking, Rachel is a Mom of two and Co-Owner of her family business, Grain Design Flooring.

We’re proud to have Rachel helping lead First National Bank’s growth in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati market!
