Williamsburg House of Mercy Williamsburg House of Mercy provides quality compassionate human services to all people in our commitment to assist all in need in our community.

Dedicated and trained, staff and volunteers work daily to meet the needs of the homeless and struggling in our community through financial assistance, permanent housing assistance, access to medical care and mental health services, food, transportation, and so much more. We partner with James City County and the City of Williamsburg to make sure the needs of our neighbors are met. We also have Hope Pregnancy Services to provide care to pregnant mothers and families.We are open: Monday- Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (Friday hours are 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day). If the House of Mercy is closed, call Salvation Army (757-229-6651), United Way (757-229-2222) or Social Services (757-259-3100) for JCC and 757-220-6161 for Williamsburg).

🚨 WE ARE 40,000 LBS AWAY FROM OUR GOAL! 🚨

Thanks to our amazing community, the has officially reached 210,000 POUNDS of food collected for our regional pantries! 📦✨

We have just 40,000 lbs left to go to hit our 250,000 lb goal by Friday, September 18th—right in time for our CommUnity Long Table Dinner!

2 EASY WAYS YOU CAN HELP US CROSS THE FINISH LINE THIS WEEK:

Shop & Drop in Merchants Square: Drop off non-perishable food items at any of the 26 participating Merchants Square businesses all week long!

Drive-Thru Collection Event: THIS THURSDAY, September 10th from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM 📍 Corner of Henry & Prince George Streets Drive up, drop off your canned goods directly into the Williamsburg House of Mercy truck, and help us stock the shelves!

Every single box and can helps feed local families through the Williamsburg House of Mercy, Grove Christian Outreach Center, FISH, Inc., and St. Olaf Food Pantry.

September is Hunger Action Month, and we are on a revolutionary mission to bring food stability to our neighbors across Greater Williamsburg!

Through the , our community is working together to collect 250,000 lbs of food to stock the shelves of local frontline hunger-relief agencies: Williamsburg House of Mercy, FISH, Inc., St. Olaf Food Pantry, and Grove Christian Outreach Center.

Here is how you can take action today:

Donate Food or Funds: Every contribution directly supports dignity and stability for our neighbors. Drop off non-perishable food items or make a financial contribution directly through the link below!

Join Us at the Long Table Dinner: Celebrate community and connection on September 19th.

Tickets are going fast and very few seats remain—grab yours now before they sell out!
