***A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for our 92 West system. Highway 92 W and all side roads served by Whitley County Water District.

Until further notice, water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled for three minutes at a rolling boil.

We are currently accepting applications for a full time Service Technician. Applications may be picked up at our office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. All applications must be turned in at our office by 4:00 pm on August 26, 2026.

**UPDATE**
With us being unable to get into the system on Monday and Tuesday, our office will be closed on Wednesday, August 19th, in order to post all payments made on Monday and Tuesday. We will extend the disconnect day to Wednesday, August 26th.

Our final system upgrade will be Monday and Tuesday, August 17th and 18th. Per the provider, we will not be able to get into the system either day. Please bring your bill with you if you come into the office to pay. We will not be able to look up anyone's account balance during these two days. Also, we will be unable to accept payments by card. There is a drop box beside the front door if you wish to leave your payment in it. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope for a smooth transition to our new system.

The boil water advisory for "Highway 26 - Wofford area" has been lifted.

***BOIL WATER ADVISORY***

A boil water advisory has been issued for Deep Branch Road and Maple Creek Road due to a main line break.

Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking. Water should be boiled for 3 minutes at a rolling boil.

The main line break was repaired earlier, then blew out again. The crew have it repaired again and are turning the water back on. They will be flushing lines to pull fresh water down from Corbin. However, a boil water advisory has been issued for the following areas:

"Highway 26 - Wofford area. From the railroad tracks at Wofford, south to 3 point and side roads in between."

Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking by bringing the water to a rolling boil for 3 minutes before using.
