🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember 🇺🇸
Twenty-five years later, the memories of September 11 remain deeply etched in our hearts.
Today, Jackson Township Fire & Rescue remembers the 2,977 lives lost and honors the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, dispatchers, and other public safety professionals who answered the call that morning — many never returning home.
For those of us who serve in public safety, September 11 carries a particularly personal meaning. It reminds us of the responsibility we share every day: to stand ready, to help our neighbors, and to run toward danger when others need us most.
We remember the courage of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We remember the families who lost loved ones. And we remember the extraordinary unity and compassion that brought our nation together in the days that followed.
May we never forget the lives they lived, the people they loved, and the sacrifice they made in service to others.
We remember.
We honor.
We serve.
We will never forget.
