Now is the time to get those parade entry forms turned in and your softball team rosters filled out for the tournament. Don’t wait, we want our Williams community and all of our surrounding communities to be part of this incredible celebration!

🔥 Stage 1 Fire Restrictions Effective June 11th, 2026 🔥

Effective 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, the City of Williams, Coconino County, and the Kaibab National Forest will enter Stage 1 Fire Restrictions due to increasing fire danger.

Key restrictions include:

• Campfires, charcoal fires, coal fires, and wood stoves are prohibited, except in designated developed recreation sites where allowed.

• Charcoal and wood-fueled BBQs are allowed at city parks and private residences, except when a Red Flag Warning is in place.

• Smoking is prohibited, except within an enclosed vehicle, enclosed building, or designated developed recreation site.

• Pressurized gas stoves and grills (LP/LPG) are permitted when used in an area cleared of flammable materials within at least three feet of the appliance.

A huge congratulations to the Williams Viking Baseball Team on bringing home the first baseball state title EVER!

These boys played with heart, grit, and Viking pride, and now they’ve earned a place in Williams history. What an incredible moment for the team, the school, and our whole community!
