🎉 Congratulations, Susie Wescoatt, on your retirement! 🎉

After serving the students, staff, and families of Williams Unified School District as a paraeducator since 1989, Susie is retiring after decades of dedicated service. Throughout her career, she worked at all of our school sites and made a positive impact on countless students and educators.

Thank you, Susie, for your commitment, compassion, and dedication to our school community. We are grateful for the difference you have made over the years and wish you a wonderful retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and new adventures.

☀️ Fun in the Sun! ☀️

Today, our Williams Elementary School Dual Immersion classes enjoyed a special trip to North View Park. Students spent the day outdoors playing and enjoying a picnic lunch with their classmates. It was a wonderful opportunity to build friendships, practice teamwork, and make great memories together. 🌳🧺😎

☀️💦 Field Day Fun! 💦☀️

Our elementary students had a blast today enjoying sponge races, water blaster soccer, bubbles, co****le, tug-of-war, and three-legged races. A special highlight was the Williams Fire Department helping students cool off with a spray from the fire hose! 🚒💧

Students, including our 4th graders, stayed cool in the sprinklers and made the most of the warm day.

Thank you to our amazing PTO volunteers and staff for making this fun-filled day possible. Lots of smiles, laughter, and great memories were made! 💛

☀️🎉 Today was Field Day at Williams Upper Elementary! 🎉☀️

Students enjoyed a day full of fun in the sun, participating in a variety of exciting activities including tie-dye shirt making, co****le, hula hoop challenges, parachute games, a free throw contest, obstacle courses, plastic axe throwing, tug-of-war, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk fun.

To top off an amazing day, students cooled down with a delicious raspado treat! 🍧

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers and parent volunteers who helped make this special day possible. Your time, energy, and support created lasting memories for our students. 💛🤎

⚽🏆 Williams Upper Elementary wrapped up our World Cup Soccer Tournament last week and celebrated our 4th, 5th and 6th Grade winners this week!

Students learned about careers in agriculture, counseling, public safety, and business ownership. They even had the opportunity to try on firefighter equipment while teachers experienced the “drunk vision” goggles demonstration.

A huge thank you to the Williams Police Department for wrapping up the Williams Elementary Bike Rodeo with an exciting bike giveaway today! 🐝🚴‍♀️🚴

Officer Ware reviewed and practiced bike hand signals with students and emphasized the importance of always wearing a helmet before the giveaway began. Congratulations to Brayan and Sofia from Mrs. Mejia’s class, who were recognized as the top-performing boy and girl during the rodeo and each received a bike for their outstanding performance. An additional 15 bikes were raffled off to students during the event.

Officer Ware also shared plans to visit all schools this fall to discuss E-bike and E-scooter safety with students. Thank you again to Williams PD for supporting our students and promoting safe riding habits in our community!
