A huge thank you to the Williams Police Department for wrapping up the Williams Elementary Bike Rodeo with an exciting bike giveaway today! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšด

Officer Ware reviewed and practiced bike hand signals with students and emphasized the importance of always wearing a helmet before the giveaway began. An additional 15 bikes were raffled off to students during the event.

Officer Ware also shared plans to visit all schools this fall to discuss E-bike and E-scooter safety with students. Thank you again to Williams PD for supporting our students and promoting safe riding habits in our community!

Yesterday, our 5th Grade students enjoyed a hands-on classroom presentation from the Honeybee Discovery Center Mobile Classroom! ๐Ÿ

The team traveled from Orland to share interactive lessons all about bees and their important role in our environment and agriculture. This exciting learning opportunity was made possible through the CDFA Farm to School Grant.

Hands-on learning makes education even more meaningful โ€” and learning about bees was definitely a buzz-worthy experience for our students!
