Drive It - Walk It - Enjoy It : A Drive-thru wildlife park featuring North American mammals exhibited in natural environments. Drive It: Drive through three miles of beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest witnessing North American animals from your own vehicle. OR hop on the Wild Ride Bus Tour. This adventure allows guests to feel the cool mountain breeze as the windows have been taken off the bus allowi

ng for unobstructed views. One of our ambassadors drives and guides you along doing some special feedings along the way. Walk It: Fort Bearizona is a separate walk-thru area, located directly after the drive-thru portion of the park. Visitors will walk through Fort Bearizona, located directly after the drive-thru portion of the park. In this area, guests leisurely stroll through winding walkways to get an up-close look at the antics of Jaguars, Grizzly Bears and smaller animals on exhibit. Enjoy It: Witness up-close animal encounters and a unique dining experience at the Canyonlands Restaurant.

Aging trees eventually become a safety liability! 🌲

This tree in our grizzly bear habitat was starting to die, making it a risk of falling on our animals. It was cut down, but it was not removed immediately in order to provide enrichment opportunities!

When two wolf packs meet… 👀

Our arctic and tundra packs have actually met through this fence many times, but they typically train one at a time, making meetups between the entire pack a fairly rare (and noisy) occurrence!

Fun fact: Meeko, like all raccoons, has hind feet that can rotate about 180 degrees, allowing him to explore in ways that other animals can’t. This includes climbing down trees head first!
