A successful afternoon decorating helmets and building safe habits with our community.

Yesterday we got together with some of youth and added some extra bling to the thing that protects your brain!

From stickers to paint, and even autographs from our smalltown hero's. It was all smiles for a good cause! Not only did these kids walk away with safe habits but ice cream tickets and more. We're glad to see parents supporting healthy habits and will continue to encourage them the best we can!⛑🚴🛴

Did someone call for backup!?🚓🚑

We were happy to request the assistance before stopping at Jonny and Jack's lemonade stand. The brothers spent the day raising money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation supporting the fight against childhood cancer.

Thanks Town of Delavan Police Department, Fontana Wisconsin Police Department and Fontana Fire and Rescue for bring the extra help and supporting a good cause. The emergency vehicles certainly drew some extra attention to the neighborhood.🚨🚨

Earlier today, Chief Timm and members of the Walworth County Child Abduction Response Team (CART) were activated to assist the City of Delavan Police Department in a large-area search for a missing community member. This was an all-hands-on deck effort to safely locate a critically missing individual.

Despite extreme heat, limited time, and the threat of severe weather, first responders from across Walworth County, along with volunteers and community members, came together in a remarkable show of commitment. Their combined efforts led to the safe location of Mr. Kilkenny and the ability to render aid.

As the first activation of the CART team, their response was a true testament to the importance of deploying a variety of resources to critical incidents. Every agency brought their own level of expertise, ultimately bringing this critical incident to a close.

We’re honored to support Walworth County CART and our neighbors in times of need. Today’s incident closes with the safe reunification of a missing person.

Scooter Safety for All Ages!

As the school year wraps up, we’re sending students into summer with safe habits top of mind.

Today, Officer Borgen delivered a final safety talk during an all-school elementary assembly. From riding tips to local rules about where e-scooters & e-bikes are permitted in the village. Students are heading home with an important safety lesson to share with their families.

To wrap up the week, officers were out in full force, rewarding riders who demonstrated strong safety habits. While helmets are easy to spot, we took it a step further by recognizing those who were truly doing the right thing—staying in their lane, obeying traffic rules, and being courteous to pedestrians. This wasn’t just about e-scooters & e-bikes, but all riding!⛑🚲🛴

We’re happy to report there was no shortage of positive behavior, and students across Williams Bay School District are heading into summer with not only safe habits but a little extra spending money in their pockets.💸💰

Keep it up Bulldogs! Be a role model and help spread the word for safe riding this summer!

SRO Borgen has been hard at work continuing scooter and bike safety education across Williams Bay! 🚲🛴 Following his presentation this past fall, Officer Borgen is making sure our students head into summer with all the right safety tips fresh in mind.

But wait… there’s MORE! 🎉

This week, officers will be out and about with a limited number of gift cards to hand out to riders showing off safe habits. That’s right — FREE gift cards! 🎁

Culver’s, Green Grocer, Frosty Moose, Dip in the Bay… and even a $50 Walmart gift cards all brought to you by Police Lights Of Christmas and generous donations.
