Your Thursday Compass....We’re excited to share some great information as we look forward to the coming season at Willard Bay State Park!

Our park is a success thanks to a unique partnership that allows us to serve you best. The land you enjoy is owned by the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), while the critical water management is overseen by the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District. Your dedicated Utah State Parks team is proud to administer and maintain all the wonderful recreation activities you love.

On the topic of supporting your park experience: did you know that Utah State Parks, including Willard Bay, are self-sustaining? We are not funded by general taxpayer dollars. We operate by bearing the costs of administration, maintenance, and replacement for all recreation activities through the revenue we generate. This means your visits and support are what truly keep the park running and preserving this resource for the future!

Finally, we have an update regarding the reservoir's water level. We have been informed, and we anticipate, that the water level for this year will be up to 60%.

The entire team is excited for a great year ahead, for boating, camping, and paddleboarding fun on the water! We look forward to seeing you soon
