WOW 82 yes , first off let me add I will not give names so no names will be give you all know who you are and what you have done or not done let me get one thing straight please don't bother the trustee by calling them at there house you would not want someone coming to your house so please give them the same so you ask will where do I go well you go to the trustee meeting it is the last Monday of each month and yes it is open to the public it is in the new Firehouse . Ok guess maybe I better say this, this is not to be angry but for information to the people of Wilkesville and wilkesville Township. ok I want to thank the people that stay with me and tried to help me keep this department a float and also to the departments that came to help us out it was greatly appreciated THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!!! Ok where to start will let start off with the RESCUE TRUCK. ok for those of you that don't know what a rescue truck is it has our rescue tools for extrication our cribbing to stabilize the car or cars lift bags if needed this truck needs to roll and run when the call comes in. Let me say for those of you A little history on this truck we got it used as most know but when we got it we was not getting the tax revenue we are today so we couldn't go get a new truck so I spent many hours at my house looking for rescue trucks . any how this is about the truck not me so I found one it was close to Tenn. WE went to look at it a member of the FD one trustee and me it had plenty of space for the tools we have All three of us said yes lets buy it so we wrote the department a check for $6,500.00 if I remember right and I drove it back got it clean up lettered up and in service for a year or so it ran fine. had a run and coming back it shut down in the middle of the road this was the start of the problems they worked on it thought we had it fixed but NO it quit on us again and again I said in a trustee meeting we need to replace this truck it is not dependable and they kept throwing money into this truck at last count I had was close to $8,000.00 now price $6500.00 was the cost when we bought it now would you put $8,000.00 in a old truck or would you take that money and put it into a better truck? The truck is still in service to this day now to me that money would have been better spent on a nice down payment on a good used truck. just my opinion I have showed them trucks upon trucks I mean showed them pictures of trucks the answer I got was to much keep looking. now the price of these used trucks range from $200,000.00 Down to $75,000.00 . So I did and this was the answer I got every month or at least the months that I presented them with trucks Now for some one to say to you the Taxpayer that they have your best interest a1t heart will I have to disagree. I have to now go back to my people and tell them sorry guys trustee said no. Oh and one more thing this truck just almost killed or could have badly injured two firefighter I was not there but was told coming back from a run trucks brakes locked up and the truck came to a slidingstop throwing them into the steering wheel and the dash now remember this truck is old so only had lap belt and if any one remembers hard stop they would slide open in the hatch was told it was almost streigh out good thing they had them on. Ok stopping here so this don't get to long if you have heard enough and have read to the end do nothing if you want to hear more like and type yes. This is only one truck we still have to talk about the brush truck and the SCBAs tanks and many more
