The Animal Shelter has experienced what has felt like a consistent influx of cats & dogs this summer; as soon as one animal goes out another comes in to take its place. While the staff at the shelter do all we can, sometimes it feels as though we simply cannot do enough to keep up with the flow of critters that come through our facility. It is an incredible blessing to work with the animals each day, but also a heavy burden on the hearts of the staff.
We would like to extend a most heartfelt thank you to our rescue partners for their help this month! So far this month, our rescue partners have assisted in pulling 25 dogs and 23 cats (in 8 days time) from the shelter to foster until they find their new homes! What a tremendous help you have been to us!
