✨ A Proud Moment for Independent Living LLC! ✨

Earlier this week, we had the absolute honor & privilege of attending and celebrating the graduation of two of our incredible Service Directors, Samantha Kalson and Kerri Ann Ruiz, from the Leadership Northeast AMPLIFY Program. 🎓💙

The AMPLIFY Program is designed to elevate emerging leaders throughout our region—challenging them to grow professionally, strengthen their leadership styles, build connections across diverse industries, and foster impactful community involvement. It’s a rigorous, months-long journey centered around collaboration, innovation, and stepping into the next level of leadership excellence.

To see Samantha and Kerri Ann complete this program with such dedication and passion is truly inspiring. Their hard work, commitment to personal growth, and unwavering leadership shine through every single day at Independent Living LLC. 🌟

💛 Our Community Integration Department combined teamwork with giving back. Instead of a traditional staff meeting, we spent the morning volunteering at the CEO Food Bank, helping prepare Thanksgiving food boxes for families in need.

A heartfelt thank you to Debbie for the inspiring introduction and for welcoming us so warmly. It was an eye-opening, educational experience that reminded us how much impact we can make when we come together.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to serve our community, strengthen our team, and spread kindness ahead of the holiday season. 🦃🍂

✨ Seven years ago today, this photo was taken — my sister, my mom, and I on the very first day Independent Living LLC opened its doors. 💜

We had no idea where this journey would take us. Some people even chuckled when I told them about my dream of starting a group home agency. But here we are today — 12 thriving locations, more than 80 amazing staff members, and countless lives touched. 🙌

Our very first client was my own sister, and from that moment on, Independent Living has been about more than just services — it’s been about family, community, and believing in something bigger than yourself. 🏡💙

I live by this: I say what I mean and mean what I say. When I commit to something, I do it. I dream out loud, even when others stay quiet out of fear of judgment. This picture reminds me of why I started, and why I’ll never stop.

Stop living to die. Live boldly. Live authentically. Live for a purpose. 💫

Here’s to 7 years of Independent Living LLC — and to many more ahead.
