Air Capital Detachment #773 Marine Corps League

Air Capital Detachment #773 Marine Corps League The Air Capitol Detachment was Charter on 18 June 1991 in Wichita to continue on the camaraderie of Marines, FMF Corpsman, and Navy Chaplains.

Within the League we have the Fun and Honor Society Military Order of Devil Dogs. The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and to preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps; strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families; serve Marines and FMF Navy Personnel who wear or who have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor; and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.

Contrary to popular belief, the US Flag/USMC flag lapel pin is not authorized for wear on any MCL uniform, it never has been authorized to wear on any MCL uniform.

Lapel pins authorized for wear on the applicable MCL uniform(s) are listed below.
1. US Flag pin (3/8-inch x 3/4-inch).
2. Presidential Gold Medal for Volunteer Service pin
3. Past National Commandant pin.
4. National Marine of The Year pin.
5. Kennel Devil Dog of The Year pin.
6. National Associate Member of The Year pin.
7. Past Department Commandant or Past Detachment Commandant pin.
8. Chapel of Four Chaplains pin.
9. MCL Membership pin (to include any anniversary MCL membership pins).
10. Retired Marine or Retired Navy pin.
11. MCL or MODD Life Member pin.
12. Ordained Minister or Ordained Chaplain symbol pin.
13. Vietnam War 50th Commemoration pin.
14. Gold Star Family pin.
15. Next of Kin Deceased Personnel pin.

At no time will the crossed US Flag/USMC flag pin be worn with any MCL uniform.
