We just wrapped up an incredible weekend at Washington Days 2026 in Topeka! Shoutout to our fabulous young Democrat chapters across the state who travelled to be with us for this wonderful event.

A major highlight was hearing directly from candidates during the weekend’s forums running for U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and Kansas Governor.

Big shoutout to our honorary Kansas Young Democrats, Dr. Emily Walters and Hank Chamberlain! They help our organization thrive.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! Now, let’s take this energy back to our local chapters and get to work.

Trans Kansans urgently need your support. Due to a veto override by the Republican-controlled Kansas legislature, over 1,000 transgender Kansans had their driver's licenses invalidated as of February 26, 2026.

We firmly oppose this legislative action and will ALWAYS stand with the LGBTQI+ community.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her plan to resign in January, after Donald Trump withdrew his endorsement and publicly attacked her just a few days ago. Turns out, Republicans can be cancelled! Only if Trump says so, though. 🤭
