Sunflower Neighborhood and Business Association, Inc. Scrap Metal Drive

The Neighborhood Association is looking for scrap metal donations. We will take any old scrap metal that you have lying around and would like hauled off. This includes washers, dryers, grills, swing sets, any appliances etc. If it is metal (steel, aluminum, copper, brass, etc.) we will pick it up and haul it away for you. However, we cannot take old fencing at this time. We are trying to help out our neighbors before the cleanup in September and make a little money for the Sunflower Neighborhood and Business Association, Inc. as well. All money received will go back into the neighborhood association. The volunteers that are doing this do not want anything in return. The money will go for items such as: ice cream and supplies for our ice cream social in June, stamps and postcards for meeting reminders, printer ink, paper, mailing the cleanup flyer and such. We would appreciate your help and would love to help you by hauling off what you’ve needed to get rid of anyway. We can't come into your yard and dig anything up for you, sorry.
We would also like to have you come out and join us at our monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month (except July and December) at 7:00 p.m. at the Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC), 3033 W 2nd St N, Wichita. If you have scrap metal that you want us to pick up, please message me. Thank you, Ray Hall President Sunflower Neighborhood and Business Association, Inc.
