We know how much comfort and companionship a furry friend can bring, especially for seniors and adults with disabilities who may not be able to get out and connect with others as easily as they once did. A pet is often more than just an animal. They are family, a source of routine, and a loyal companion during lonely days.

That’s why we created AniMeals. Through this program, we provide our clients with 7 cups of dog or cat food each week, helping ensure they never have to make the heartbreaking choice between feeding themselves or feeding the pet they love so dearly.

As we approach Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we have the freedoms we cherish today, and we are deeply grateful.

In observance of Memorial Day, Meals on Wheels Wichita County will be closed on Monday. This includes both the Red Door and Green Door Senior Centers.

To ensure our clients continue to receive the nourishment they need, frozen meals will be delivered on Thursday, May 21.

While our doors may be closed for the day, our hearts remain full of gratitude for those who served and sacrificed for us.
