Investing in our students starts with investing in our educators!

This week, our staff participated in a two-day professional learning experience that was put on by Side-by-Side Educational Consulting. The training was focused on understanding dyslexia and supporting students with reading difficulties. Grounded in the Science of Reading, the training provided valuable insight into how the reading brain develops, the characteristics of dyslexia, and evidence-based practices that help all learners succeed. 📚🧠👓

Our team left with greater confidence, practical strategies, and a deeper understanding of how to meet the needs of every learner in our classrooms.

We are proud of our staff's commitment to continuous learning and to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to become successful readers!

A bit delayed, but here are some photos from our last few weeks of school at the elementary school! It was a busy couple of weeks with our 100 Point AR pizza party, our 4th quarter GROW Award celebration, our Read In field trips, our top AR readers announcement, and our last day of school activities including Gateway to Science and a dance party to send off our staff members who are heading to new adventures. 🎉

Talent runs deep at Wibaux County High School!

Lidia put her skills to work creating this awesome side table using both metal and wood craftsmanship. From the clean welds to the rustic wood top, this project turned out sharp!

There’s something pretty special about students building real, usable projects with their own two hands. Great job, Lidia — your hard work and creativity definitely show!

Our 7th grade students have been hard at work in the shop, showing off their creativity, craftsmanship, and determination through their welding and wood projects!

From sparks flying in the welding booth to sawdust covering the shop floor, these students are learning valuable hands-on skills that will serve them for years to come. We are proud of the effort, teamwork, and pride they put into every project.

Great job, 7th graders! The future is looking pretty bright — and very well built. 🔨🔥
