Whittier Area Infant-Family Program The Whittier Area Infant-Family Program is a free, public school program, designed to meet the needs

The Whittier Area Infant-Family Program is operated jointly by the East Whittier City School District and the Whittier Area Cooperative Special Education Program (WACSEP) and is located at Leffingwell School. The program is designed to meet the needs of families with young children--birth to three years-- who have significant developmental delays, or who are at risk for significant delays. Service

s are family centered and may include a combination of center based and home based services. The child's age, family priorities and concerns, along with ongoing team assessment determine the individual service plan. The program works in coordination with other agencies, such as Regional Center and CCS.
