May 2026 School Board Meeting Update

CSEA Chapter 42 attended the May 2026 Whittier Union High School District Board Meeting to continue advocating for classified employees and keeping member concerns visible.

During the meeting, Chapter representatives addressed ongoing issues impacting classified staff, including summer school selection concerns, employee morale, workplace conditions, negotiations updates, and the importance of treating classified employees with fairness, respect, and transparency.

Chapter 42 remains committed to speaking up for our members, strengthening communication with the District and Board, and ensuring classified voices are heard.

Together, we continue working to protect and improve the working conditions of classified employees across Whittier Union High School District.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to join us for our End-of-the-Year Celebration! It was great to come together as a Chapter 42 family for food, prizes, giveaways, conversation, and a chance to celebrate the work we do all year long.

We appreciate every member who showed up, connected, and helped make the event special. As we close out the school year, we hope everyone gets a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved summer break.
