Whittier Public Library - Veterans Resource Center A service of the Whittier Public Library (Central location only) where trained volunteers offer information and referrals to veterans and their families.

The Veterans Resource Center is located in the mezzanine of the Whittier Public Library (7344 S. Washington Ave.). It is staffed by trained volunteers who offer information and referral services for veterans and their families.

Our Veterans Service Officer will be available by phone on Friday, April 3 and April 17. Please call Whittier Public Library at 562 567 9900 between 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday to make an appointment.

Meet Adam, our new Veterans Services Officer, and volunteer Alejandra. You can meet with them every other Friday starting May 17. Thanks to Supervisor Janice Hahn, I was able to bring this much-needed resource to the Whittier Public Library. Our vets no longer have to leave Whittier to apply for disability and other benefits.
