On the 25th anniversary of September 11, Rose Hills was honored to come together with local first responders, community members, and our associates to remember the 2,977 lives lost and pay tribute to the heroes who answered the call that day.

A special thank you to State Senator Bob Archuleta, City of Whittier - Local Government Mayor Pro Tem Maryann Pacheco and Council Member Vicky Santana, Diamond Bar Council Member Andrew Chou, the California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station and members of our community who joined us in placing flags for our 9/11 Remembrance: Field of Healing.

Together, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, Rose Hills invites the community to visit our Field of Healing, on display September 11–21.

The memorial will feature 2,977 American flags, two memorial towers bearing the names of those who lost their lives, and the Flag of Honor.

Local first responders will join us in placing flags as we remember the lives lost and honor the heroes who responded with courage and sacrifice.

We Will Never Forget.

Rose Hills is proud to support Dr. Anabel Juarez and Father Eliseo Gonzalez from St. Benedict’s Catholic Church and School with a community donation that helps fund programs serving local families. St. Benedict’s has been a valued partner and active participant in our Día de los Mu***os Community Altar Blessing and Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to Rose Hills for donating 100 brand new backpacks to The Whole Child!

The Rose Hills team visited our Safe Family shelter to personally deliver the donations. These backpacks will help ensure that children we serve have the supplies they need to start the school year feeling ready, supported, and confident.

We are grateful to Rose Hills for investing in local families and making a meaningful difference for children in our community.
