And as they say... and here is the rest of the story!
A BIG THANK YOU to all those who have supported the 103rd Anniversary of our Bench and our history -
- City Council member Vicki Wilson working the Kristi Woellert our City Secretary to draft our Proclamation and Janice Sanders, Mayor for presenting it on behalf of the City of Whitney and to the City of Whitney for recognizing its continuous historical significance...
- Juniper Cove Winery for its continued support and maintenance of the Bench
- for our amazing small scale replica of "Life on the Bench"
- Kenneth and Julia Eubank for getting on top of that tall scaffolding with me to help repaint the wall mural and making needed wood repairs on the Bench and Bruce Martin for loaning us the scaffolding to do that task
- Sara Jewel and her husband Chris who helped clean, refresh, and repaint the Bench for this year's celebration
- Cheryl Taylor-West for helping with the Cake so that everyone had a part in our celebration
- WesnJess Brown for doing our video and making sure we got pictures!
- And to All Our Great Visitors and Relatives of the Descendents of the Bench for helping us continue to piece together family stories and add to the sense of Community brought together by something as simple as a bench...
