Mentor Program Applications Due

Any rising junior or senior is invited to apply for the Mentor Program.

Mentors play an essential role in welcoming incoming freshmen and helping run Freshman First Night in August.

Applications are available from:

School Counseling

Applications are due to Mrs. Scott or Mr. Dunn by Friday, June 12.

Students are encouraged to put their best effort into the application process, as the program has been competitive in previous years.

AP Biology Students
Any student who has signed up for AP Biology next year should stop by Room 305 to introduce themselves to Mrs. Scott and pick up the summer assignment.

Students should sign up with Ms. Risko to attend.

Sign Language Club – Final Meeting of the Year

The final Sign Language Club meeting of the year will be held during WIN Block.

Come meet the new club officers and learn how to sign phrases related to summer vacation. This will be the club's last meeting of the school year, and all students are welcome to attend.

Congratulations to Our Retiring Teachers !!

This year marks the end of the line for 5 High School Staff Members who are calling it a career after this school year ends. Combined they have 166 years of experience educating students (159 of those educating Whitman-Hanson students). We wish you all the very best and hope you all enjoy a Long Healthy retirement. Congratulations to Dave Floeck (34 years all in WH), Bob Davidson (36 years/ 29 at WH), Kathy Meehan (30 years all at WH), Dan Moriarty (33 years / 30 at WH) and Mike Grable (33 years all at WH)

WH Art Stars - W-H Junior, Ryder Averill and Sophomore, Bryce Weckbacher

We are very proud to report that W-H Junior, Ryder Averill and Sophomore, Bryce Weckbacher, were selected to take part in the South Shore Art Center's Art Stars Program. Over the past few months, they have been meeting with a small group of the most talented student artists in the region and their artist mentors. The students were commissioned by the South Shore Music Circus two create 2 large murals that were recently installed at the music venue. Ryder and Bryce will be honored for their efforts during a reception at 1:30 pm on June 20th, on the Cohasset Common during the South Shore Art Festival. They will also be honored at a reception, tentatively scheduled at the South Shore Music Circus on August 2 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
Congratulations to Ryder and Bryce for their hard work and incredible artistic talent.
