There was a wreck on 27 on the northern end of the county earlier today that is still hindering traffic. We understand when you are stuck in traffic, that it can be an inconvenience to your schedule. However please be mindful that in situations such as these, emergency personnel are doing the best they can to let what traffic they can flow through safely.

Please do not tie up emergency and non emergency 911 lines for traffic updates.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families affected by today’s tragedy.

Ambulance 81 has been good to us, 2018 model, 327,842 hard miles and still running when it left, but it’s time for a remount, it will come back with a brand new 2025 Chevy Chassis and the box will be all redone with new lights, interior, and whatever it needs to be like new again.
I want to thank the McCreary County Fiscal court for always working with our EMS to provide the best possible trucks, equipment and life saving services possible.
