One week from today is the Summer Solstice Car Show.
Set up begins at 3PM and will run till dark.
This year the cost is $10 or $5 with a non-perishable food donation. All food will be donated to this year's recipient, "Feed Our Vets".
We also encourage all those in attendance to please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to donate.
We are again thankful to Lynx Automotive for their support and sponsorship.
We look forward to seeing everyone and their cars.
Whitesboro FD and Yorkville FD will also be on hand for recruit NY.

Tomorrow evening the Whitesboro Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting hydrant testing in the village. Please be advised that you may experience low water pressure and or discolored water. The testing is slated to take place after 6PM and water will clear back up after testing is done.

Expect minor traffic delays on Oriskany Blvd / Rt 69 in the Village of Whitesboro today. It will be necessary from time to time to stop traffic for removal of portions of the bridge structure on the Thruway bridge project.

This morning many of our residents along Main St from Westmoreland St east experienced brown water. This we learned this morning was related to testing and flushing of fire hydrants in the Village. The water will clear as the day continues. There will also be additional testing and flushing possible over the next couple of days.

The Summer Solstice Car Show Returns!
Mark your calendars for Wednesday June 17th. This year we are excited to team up with "Feed Our Vets" a terrific local charitable organization. This year the entry fee will be $10.00 or $5.00 with a non perishable food donation. The wonder folks from Feed Our Vets will be on hand to collect food donations during the car show. Let's have a great turn out and support our local veterans!

Good morning we are passing along our yearly reminder that no signs per Village of Whitesboro ordinance are permissible between the sidewalk and the curb (Village Right of Way). Any signs found in this area will be removed by the DPW.

There is currently a water main break on Roosevelt Dr in front of Wadas Eye Group.
The Mohawk Valley Water Authority is on scene working on assessing the situation. At this time Roosevelt Dr is closed from Moseley St to the Boulevard Diner. At this time those who live in the area may see a drop in Water pressure and or cloudy water. At this time they have advised us that there may be a need to turn off the water to complete the repairs. If they do have to turn off the water they will notify us and we will pass it along.
