The whites crossing volunteer firemen and rescue company was established in 1965 by 7 local residents with the goal in mind to protect and serve the residents of Carbondale Township and surrounding communities from a wide range of emergencies and natural disasters. The founding members had built the station on Gravity Road by themselves and we had been located there until December of 2020. The mem

bership had decided to build a new bigger facility on the Roosevelt Highway that will provide ample space to fit all of the current equipment along with a space for bigger and better fundraisers.
