We know it’s Sunday… but we need to tell you about Saturday. 😉

Yesterday was First Saturday — our monthly Saturday opportunity for families to visit Resources of Hope and access our clothing closet and available resources.

And this First Saturday made an impact. 💚

👕 14 kids served
👚 100+ outfits & pajamas provided
📍 4 Indiana communities reached: Indianapolis, Bargersville, Avon & Columbus

This is about more than just the numbers — it is 14 children with a little more support than they came in with.

And our clothing closet is about more than clothes, too. It is an extension of the programs and support Resources of Hope provides. When families walk through our doors, they aren't just met with racks of clothing — they're met by a welcoming human who can listen, connect, answer questions and help them discover other resources that may support their family. Our Executive Director is part of that program experience, making sure families are welcomed by a person, not just provided a service.

First Saturday helps make our resources more accessible to families who may not be able to visit during our regular weekday hours (M, W or FRI).

This is what your donations, your volunteer hours and your continued support make possible.

So yes, we know it’s Sunday… but we think this impact deserves to be in the spotlight no matter what day it is. 💚

International Day of Charity | September 5 💚💜

Charity isn’t always about doing something big. Sometimes, it’s simply making sure someone in our community has what they need.

At Resources of Hope, generosity becomes something tangible—a child getting clothes that fit, a family receiving needed supplies, or a caregiver being met with a smile during a difficult season.

Every donation, volunteer hour, shared post, and financial gift helps us continue to be a resource for local families.

This International Day of Charity, we invite you to give where you live. Support local. Give what you can. And help us continue turning generosity into hope for foster and kinship families across Indiana. 💙

Because when our community shows up for one another, hope grows.

We are open tomorrow 9am- 12pm ! Stop by to shop for your foster / Kinship kiddos. Just in time before we change the closet over for Fall and Winter.
Remember:
👉🏼 If this is your FIRST VISIT, bring a placement letter and plan to complete brief paperwork before you shop.

🧥 Hello, sweaters, hoodies, jeans & cozy weather!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be transitioning our clothing closet from summer to fall and winter. That means warmer clothes, cozy layers, jackets, and all the things families need as Indiana temperatures start to drop.

Have fall or winter clothing to donate? Now is a great time to help us stock the closet for the season ahead!

✨ Teen Connect – Girls is TOMORROW! ✨

We’re getting together for an evening of creativity, connection, and fun! 💕

Tomorrow night, our girls will enjoy dinner together, make fidget keychains and squishies, and have plenty of time to hang out, laugh, and connect with one another. 🥰

Teen Connect is a safe space for girls in foster, kinship, or adoptive families to simply be themselves, build friendships, and know they are not alone.
