A reminder that the Anthony Wayne Area Senior Connection RETURNS this Saturday, September 12, at Hope United Methodist Church-Whitehouse!

It will run every Saturday from 9:00 AM - Noon with guest speakers/programs every Second and Fourth Saturday. Whitehouse Mayor Richard Bingham will kick things off on September 12 with a Village Update at 10:00 AM.

Join us for a continental breakfast. All are welcome!

A reminder that the Whitehouse Farmer's Market Presented by the Anthony Wayne Community Chamber of Commerce will go until October 18! Contact the Chamber with any inquiries.

We would love to have you! The market lasts from 1 to 4 PM. Booth space only $10. Young entrepreneurs in junior and high school are free with parent permission.

Today is the Day! Join us tonight as we wrap up our 2026 season with Abbigale Rose & The Highlights at the Whitehouse Summer Concert Series on September 10!

Fun begins at 5:00 PM, Music from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM!

The Designated Beverage Area returns hosted by Anthony Wayne Area Rotary with proceeds going to their missions throughout the community.

There will also be a variety of area food trucks in case you get hungry:

Pop and Water will be sold by the Toledo Warriors Hockey Club.

The Whitehouse Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public. Food Trucks and Vendors start at 5:00 PM and the concert goes from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. We can't wait to see you there!

The Village of Whitehouse is currently seeking a professional, high caliber individual to join us at Village Hall for the full-time position of Office Assistant. The right candidate will be a core member of our team environment. The candidate must possess a willingness to learn and grow, and an eagerness to take on new responsibilities. Above all, the candidate should have a sincere passion for customer service.

Working with the administrative team, duties would include but are not limited to: answering phones, assisting walk-in visitors to Village Hall, general office duties, assisting in Utilities, processing bills and payments, accounts payable, payroll, scheduling of assets and utility appointments and handling other duties as assigned.

Pay scale is $15.55 – $22.92 and will be decided depending on qualifications of candidate.

Whitehouse Village Council is seeking candidates for its next Clerk of Council. This person is appointed by Council to perform duties required by Council, the Village Charter, and the Ohio Revised Code. Duties include: attending Council meetings as well as various committee and board meetings; keeping a journal of proceedings and legislation; preparing official meeting minutes; calling the roll for attendance and voting; and other duties as necessary. Hours vary but generally include evening meetings the first, second, and third Tuesdays of each month as well as time for clerical duties; approximately 6 -10 hours a month. Salary is set by Council (historically $3,000-$5,000 per year, paid monthly) and will be commensurate with experience and/or proficiency.
