Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to travel, meet people from all walks of life, and learn lessons from all over that I’ve carried back home. I like to think of myself as a sponge always curious, always learning, and always looking for ways to apply what I’ve picked up to help my community.
From those experiences, I’ve focused my work around three key areas:
• Community Investment
• Economic & Real Estate Development
• Environmental Impact & Connection to Nature
For me, the central question is this: How do we manage Whitehall’s growth intentionally so we don’t displace low- and fixed-income residents, while also limiting the negative and maximizing the positive impact on our environment?
Displacement – Growth should not come at the expense of our neighbors. We need to ensure that the businesses we attract are true partners in the community investing back into Whitehall and creating quality jobs for our residents. At the same time, we must expand programs and services that relieve financial burdens while opening new pathways for workforce development.
Environment – Growth and sustainability must go hand in hand. That means supporting efforts to maintain and enhance our tree inventory, expanding access to parks and green spaces, supporting walkable and bike-friendly neighborhoods, and embracing initiatives that reduce waste and energy use. Protecting our environment is about more than conservation it’s about ensuring a healthier, more vibrant city for generations to come.
At the heart of it all, my travels and experiences remind me that public, private, and individual needs can work together. My curiosity keeps me humble enough to know there’s always more to learn from others.
I strive to represent Whitehall in a way that honors our community and continues to help change the narrative of our city for the better.
