Residents of Trempealeau County Encouraged to Participate in Compass Now 2027 Survey

Trempealeau County Health and Human Services is partnering with Great Rivers United Way, local health departments, healthcare systems, schools, and community organizations throughout the region to conduct the Compass Now 2027 Community Health Assessment.

Every three years, Compass Now gathers input from community members to better understand local health needs, challenges, and priorities. Survey results help guide programs, services, funding opportunities, and community initiatives that support the health and well-being of residents throughout the region.

Community feedback from the 2024 Compass Now survey identified access to care as a top priority, particularly access to dental services due to the limited number of providers in the county who accept Medicaid. In response, Trempealeau County Health and Human Services partnered with Bridging Brighter Smiles to bring mobile dental clinics to the county. Since then, quarterly clinics have provided free dental cleanings to local residents while helping connect individuals with additional dental resources and specialist referrals when needed.

Compass Now results are used by hospitals, public health departments, schools, nonprofits, local governments, and community organizations to:
• Identify community needs and priorities
• Develop and improve programs and services
• Support grant and funding opportunities
• Guide policies and community improvement efforts

How to Participate
Residents can now take the survey online at Compass Now Website, or by clicking this link: https://levans.questionpro.com/a/TakeSurvey?tt=iFT9gLTFj4EECHrPeIW9eQ%3D%3D

Paper copies are available in English and Spanish at the Trempealeau County Government Center, Emplify by Gundersen in Whitehall, and Mayo Clinic Health System in Osseo.

Survey QR codes will also be available at community events through the end of October, and the survey link will be shared on the Trempealeau County Health & Human Services page.

The survey is anonymous, available in English and Spanish, and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants may optionally provide contact information to receive updates, participate in future discussions, and enter prize drawings.

The survey is scheduled to close on Oct. 31st, 2026. Community members are encouraged to share their experiences and help shape the future of health and wellness initiatives in Trempealeau County.
