The Whitehall Division of Police provides 24-hour service and is an integral part of developing and maintaining a safe and secure community through the cooperative efforts of many departments and community organizations. The division proudly provides a wide range of police services and programs to residents, visitors and members of the business community. The division is staffed by sworn officers who are professionally trained and certified by the State of Ohio; and, by law, are also declared to be law enforcement officers of the State and conservators of peace with the authority to arrest. In addition to sworn staff, there are several full-time and part-time civilian staff who provide other support to the division's operations. We are proud to partner with Whitehall City Schools and Whitehall Division of Fire to help make our schools safer and better prepared.

Safety Days are an important opportunity for students, staff, police, and fire personnel to practice emergency procedures and work together to ensure everyone knows what to do when it matters most.

Thank you to our school administrators, staff, and students, for continuing to make school safety a priority. Together, we are working to keep our schools safe, prepared, and ready.

Safety Days Are Underway!

Whitehall City Schools has begun our annual Safety Days. During this time, students and staff practice important safety procedures to help ensure everyone knows how to respond in an emergency.

Community members may see groups of students and staff walking near our schools or gathering at designated locations as part of these drills. Please know these are planned exercises being conducted with care and supervision.

We appreciate our staff, students, families, and community partners for helping us stay Relationship-Driven, Resourceful, Resilient, and Ready!
