We regret to inform you of the passing of Firefighter Gerald “Jerry” Nero. Jerry ran with the Cementon station for 58 years! RIP Brother! God Bless the family and friends of Jerry as they cope with the loss of a loved one.

Do to the Whitehall Townships permanent shut down of Whitehall Fire Department Station 40 we had to CANCEL the gun raffle. We will start working on the process of refunding money for tickets that were purchased. Sorry for any inconvenience.

After 119 years of serving the citizens of Cementon, Whitehall Township, and any other place we might have been to help out for mutual aid. It is with a heavy and sadden heart that I have to inform you that the Cementon station has been permanently closed by the mayor and chief of the township! Thank you to everyone for your support of the station over the years!

As of 11am this morning, Santa has finished up his tour of the village of Cementon. He is back on his own sleigh with his reindeer leading him back to the North Pole. We at Cementon Station 40 would like to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Thank you all for the continued support through out the year! Stay safe everyone!

Santa has begun to make his appearance!

Due to last nights heavy fog and also this mornings fog Santa will be delayed. Santa should be out around 9:30-945, starting with front street and continuing through Cementon. Thanks for the understanding!

As a station we have all come to agree that the safety of station 40 and the the safety of the residents is very important durning COVID-19 especially with cases on the rise. It was a very hard decision but we will not be delivering gifts with Santa this year! Although on Sunday December 13th we will still be escorting Santa around all of Cementon. Thank you for your understanding and great support of your hometown fire department.

ATTENTION CHILDREN AND PARENTS!!

SANTA WILL BE VISITING THE VILLAGE OF CEMENTON THIS YEAR ON SUNDAY DECEMBER 13th!! That’s right parents even with what’s going on with the pandemic we are still doing Operation SANTA this year to spread the Christmas Spirt!! Stay tuned for gift drop off times!!
