The big morning is finally here! ☀️🎒

These beautiful spaces are all set and ready for action after our team put the finishing touches on them during prep day.

We are beyond excited to kick off this school year—especially because opening our second classroom lets us welcome more children into our school family than ever before!

We could not have done this without our amazing community—thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this moment, including all of the supporters who helped complete the beautiful tile bench for our new classroom! And a special thank you to everyone who continues to support us through the Great Fish Community Challenge (Two more weeks left!). Teamwork in action! 🎨 Our amazing staff (& staff kids) spent part of their weekend painting and adding the finishing touches to our tile bench project. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated team working behind the scenes to make our space special! We missed a few of our substitute team members who couldn’t make it, but we’re so grateful for everyone who makes our school family complete.

Whitefish Community School is proud to be participating in the 2026 Great Fish Community Challenge!

For over 20 years, our preschool has been serving Flathead Valley families, providing a warm, inspiring environment where young minds can learn, play, and grow.

We’re honored to stand alongside 89 local nonprofits in this year’s challenge. Thanks to matching funds from the Whitefish Community Foundation, every gift goes even further to strengthen our school, support our youngest learners, and lift up the valley we all call home. 💙

A huge thank you to North Valley Music School for hosting us for a field trip to your instrument petting zoo! 🎻🥁
What a wonderful, hands-on way to kick off our music theme for the week. Our little learners had the best time exploring all the unique sounds! 🎶✨

Construction on our new parking lot is moving right along! The crew has officially started work in front of the school to install the curb and sidewalk.

Temporary Entrance Update:
While the front of the school is under construction, please use our temporary entrance located to the left of the garage. There is a gate there for both entry and exit. If you need to stop by over the next few weeks, please use this path for now!

We are so excited to see this progress and can’t wait to have everything completed very soon. Thank you for your patience as we grow!
