A day late but better late than never...its time for Friday Weekly Report!

First and foremost, THANK YOU! ❤️

To the 65 people who have already donated to the Whitefish Community Center — we are so grateful for you. Thank you for believing in the Center, supporting the work we do, and investing in the people and programs that make our community stronger.

Because of you, we have already raised $29,135 — that’s 48% of our $60,000 goal! 🎉

🐻 97 PEOPLE CAME OUT FOR THE FATE OF THE GRIZZLY!

What a fantastic turnout on August 27th for "The History and Fate of the Grizzly in the Northern U.S. Rockies" at the Whitefish Community Center!

We were honored to welcome Dr. Christopher Servheen, former USFWS Grizzly Bear Recovery Coordinator and current IUCN Bear Specialist, for a fascinating look at the history, recovery, and uncertain future of grizzly bears in the West.

A huge thank you to our partners, Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance and the North Fork Preservation Association, for helping bring this important conversation and an incredible speaker to the Whitefish Community Center. We’re grateful for your partnership!

And a very special thank you to Dr. Servheen for such an engaging and thought-provoking presentation. We learned a lot and appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience with our community.

And finally, thank you to the 97 people who joined us! Your enthusiasm for learning and engaging with important topics like this is what makes evenings like this so special. 🐻

💚 Week 4 of the Great Fish Community Challenge is here!

This week, we’re talking about another way the Whitefish Community Center serves our community: we are Wellness Focused.

Staying well is about more than just exercise. It’s about keeping your body moving, your mind engaged, and staying connected with the people around you.

We are fortunate to partner with an amazing group of instructors who bring a diverse palette of fitness programs to our members and the community. From different styles and levels of movement to opportunities to learn and connect, there are many ways to find something that works for you.

Wellness looks different for everyone, and we’re proud to offer a place where our community can find what works for them.

Stop in and see us this week! We’re open 9 AM–2 PM, and we’d love for you to check out what the Whitefish Community Center has to offer. Want to give one of our fitness programs a try? Come join us for a class and see if it’s a good fit for you!

What a wonderful afternoon at the Whitefish Community Center! 🌟

A big THANK YOU to the 37 people who joined us yesterday afternoon for Linda Smith’s fascinating presentation, “Pyramids of Ancient Egypt.” It was wonderful to see so many people come together for another journey into history.

And, of course, thank you to Linda for once again sharing her knowledge and taking us somewhere fascinating through her wonderful presentations. We always look forward to where she’ll take us next!
