Another win in The Doug! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿˆ

The Colonels defended home turf and defeated Creekview 27-21! We were also excited to welcome our middle school feeder pattern principals, Mrs. Suarez and Mrs. Perry, along with Bartow County Superintendent Mr. Terza and Deputy Superintendent Mr. Suttle, to Friday Night Lights!

Thank you for coming out to support our Colonels! Colonel Nation was rocking in The Doug! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› Tonight, we celebrate Youth Night at Cass High School! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™
We are proud to welcome and recognize some of Cass High Schoolโ€™s future Colonelsโ€”our Bartow County Youth Cheerleaders and Football Players! ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ“ฃ
Our future football players got the opportunity to participate in the pre-game festivities, while our youth cheerleaders took the sidelines to perform cheers alongside the excitement of the crowd! From the energy of pre-game to the lights, the crowd, and all the excitement on the field, these young Colonels got to experience everything Friday Night Lights has to offer!
Thereโ€™s nothing like seeing the next generation of Colonels making memories under the lights! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Cass High School is proud to partner with Bartow Cares 4 U and our Feeder Pattern Elementary Schools to recognize one outstanding student from each school at every home game!
The September Word of the Month is Listeningโ€”paying attention and trying to understand what someone is sharing with you. Listening is a kindness skill that demonstrates caring, and these students were recognized by their schools for representing this value exceptionally!
๐Ÿ‘ Congratulations to our September honorees:
๐Ÿ’™ Cloverleaf Elementary: Harper Paradise
๐Ÿ’› Hamilton Crossing Elementary: Tristian Copeland
๐Ÿ’™ Kingston Elementary: Scarlett Street
๐Ÿ’› White Elementary: Ava Pope
๐Ÿ’™ Clear Creek Elementary: Zoe Franco-Cruz
We are so proud of these young leaders for demonstrating the power of listening and caring for others. Congratulations, Junior Colonels! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› Building the Next Generation of Colonels!
Our Cass High School student-athletes are continuing to visit our feeder pattern elementary schools on Friday mornings, opening car doors and welcoming our future Colonels!
Today, our softball players joined our football players and cheerleaders at White Elementary School after their big win last night. Across our feeder schools, our student-athletes are building connections, serving as positive role models, and helping us build the next generation of Colonels!

This week, our AMDM students put Tier 1 learning into action during a productive work session focused on dimensional analysis and conversion factors. Students applied mathematical reasoning with their group as they journeyed through problems in a question trail. Way to go Senior math students!

๐ŸŒŸ CTAE Spotlight at Cass High School! ๐ŸŒŸ
Our Culinary Arts students are putting their skills to work through hands-on learning in the kitchen! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ
Students are working on HOSP-CAI-3.1, demonstrating proper procedures for cleaning and maintaining professional kitchen equipment, and HOSP-ICA-14.2, demonstrating basic dry heat cooking methods such as sautรฉing, griddling, pan-frying, deep frying, baking, roasting, and grilling.
Through these real-world experiences, our students are building the knowledge and skills needed for success in the culinary and hospitality industry!

๐Ÿ“š Tier I Instruction in Action at Cass High School!

Today, Mr. Revard joined students in Ms. Heltonโ€™s class for a lesson connecting what students experience every day at Cass High School to a much bigger picture โ€” how our federal government operates.

Students were challenged to compare and contrast the structure and responsibilities within Cass High School with the structure of the federal government, helping them take an abstract concept and connect it to something familiar and relevant.

And thereโ€™s nothing better than getting out of the principalโ€™s office and back into the classroom with our Colonels! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค

Empowering Learning, Elevating Success! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
Today, Cass High School teachers focused on professional development and growth by creating meaningful goals for the year. Some goals were developed schoolwide, while others were created individually or with teaching teams.
We are proud of our staffโ€™s commitment to continuous growth and providing the best possible learning experiences for our students! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Can you believe we traveled to 14 different Asian countries in ONE day?! ๐ŸŒโœˆ๏ธ

Members of our Chinese Language Society (CLS) and Chinese World Language students traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee, this past Sunday for the Asian Festival cultural field tripโ€”and they had a BLAST!

Students experienced authentic foods, exciting performances, and traditional activities representing cultures from across Asia. They also participated in the Passport Program, which allowed them to explore as many countries as possible through hands-on cultural activities and earn a stamp from each country they visited.

What an incredible opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in and experience the rich and diverse cultures found throughout Asia! ๐Ÿฅข๐ŸŒ What a great day of learning, exploring, and making memories!
