We are so excited to be partnering with the Adairsville, Cartersville, Emerson, Kingston, and White Police Departments to offer an opportunity for youth ages 14-21 to join the newly formed Bartow Police Cadet Program. We will be chartered through Public Safety Cadets, and you can find more information about this program at www.PublicSafetyCadets.org

If there are any youth, at least 14 years of age but no more than 21 years of age interested in joining, reach out to one of your local police departments to obtain an application. We hope to be in the schools within Bartow County very soon to provide more information about the program.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the City of White! We enjoyed passing out toys and food boxes on Christmas Eve 2021, but most of all we enjoyed seeing your faces light up with joy this Christmas Season! We hope you all enjoyed Christmas 2021! These are screenshots from the video. Look at the patches on the sleeve, you can see where is says "Cordele". Also take a look at the badge, the badge in the pictures is oval and silver. I have also attached a picture of what our "New/Current" patch looks like along with our badge. Last, I have included pictures of this year of some of our officers, showing the differences in the "badge, patch, and uniforms". Also included a picture of where the creator/uploader tagged the location of the video in "Cordele". The creator/uploader of the video is wrong and is trying to get more views. Thanks!

This video has been floating around online. This is NOT the City of White Police Department, located in Bartow County Ga. The picture that the YouTube creator used is one of our old patrol cars from years ago. This video shows officers from the Cordele Police Department, located in Crisp County Ga. There will be another post with pictures. Thanks

Please keep the Holly Springs Police Department in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of one of their officers who was killed in the line of duty last night. Rest easy, we’ve got the watch from here.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Hickory Road from New Light Road to Little Road is closed for an active police investigation. That stretch of Hickory Road will remain closed throughout the morning. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation they are investigating an officer involved shooting at the request of the Holly Springs Police Department. A Holly Springs Police Officer has been killed. A male suspect has died also. The incident started as a traffic stop.
