During wildfire season, it's important to know the evacuation levels. An evacuation warning means "Be Ready" to evacuate and take steps to prepare. An evacuation order means "Go Now," and waiting to leave could put you, your family, livestock, pets, and first responders at risk. Prepare a "go kit" and an evacuation plan now to save precious time to respond.

BIG thank you to Diana Holm for her generous donation. Diana had a yard sale and donated all proceeds to the Fire Dept. We couldn't protect the community without support like this. This means the world too us.

We had some too "KOOL" for "SKHOOL" kids visit the SO today. (mis spellings on purpose). Shields Valley 1st and 3rd graders had a blast. Fan favorites, the jail cell, lights, sirens and spraying water.

We participated in the Meagher County Community Health Expo today. We enjoyed chatting and meeting people in the community. Thanks to everyone that stopped by our table.

On the afternoon of Friday, February 6th, we were called to a wildland fire, which resulted in the loss of out buildings, feed and equipment. Firefighters were on scene fighting fire and doing mop up operations well into the evening. Mutal aid was also on scene.
