This WV Checkbook video is 7 years old. The presenter makes the point that WV politics has a reputation for corruption, and then he says that only Transparency can correct that image. Do you think residents and businesses in WSS would benefit from the city joining WV Checkbook and thereby becoming transparent?

According to the Emergency Council Meeting last evening, none of the financial reports from at least the last two years were based on banking or billing records. All financial reports from at least that time period appear to have been fictional. The $100,000 left from the $1M airport sale will now be used to pay bills.
How did the council member(s) in charge of reporting city finances not know this?
