Congratulations to Captain Kostyak on completing and obtaining his Fire Officer III certification through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

Captain Kostyak has been with the White Settlement Fire Department since 2017 and currently serves as the B-Shift Captain.

This accomplishment reflects a strong commitment to professional development, leadership, and continued growth in the fire service. Fire Officer III is an advanced certification that builds on the knowledge and skills needed to lead personnel, manage programs, and support department operations.

We are proud of Captain Kostyak’s dedication to furthering his education and continuing to serve the White Settlement Fire Department and our community at a high level.

Congratulations to Captain Warren on completing Paramedic school and passing his National Registry exam.

This accomplishment takes a tremendous amount of time, dedication, and discipline, all while continuing to serve as Captain on A-Shift. Captain Warren started with the White Settlement Fire Department in 2018 and is now one of three paramedics assigned to operations.

We are proud of his hard work and commitment to continuing his education so he can better serve our community and support our members on emergency calls.

This accomplishment requires tremendous time, dedication, and discipline, all while continuing to serve as Captain on A-Shift. Captain Warren started with the White Settlement Fire Department in 2018 and is now one of three paramedics assigned to operations.

Today, we honor the memory of the servicemen and women who gave their lives while defending our nation and protecting the freedoms we hold dear.

Memorial Day serves as a reminder that freedom comes at a cost, and that sacrifice should never be forgotten. We are grateful for the courage, dedication, and selfless service of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

As we gather with family and friends today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor the fallen and the loved ones who continue to carry their legacy forward.

From the White Settlement Fire Department, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

The Brewer Lady Bears are on the field right now taking on Hallsville in Game 2 of the State Semifinals.

Even though the game is being played out of town, the Brewer community can still show its support by tuning in to the Brewer Bears live YouTube broadcast and cheering them on from home.
