⚾The Brewer High School baseball team is playing on new turf, and big improvements are happening across WSISD thanks to the 2022 Bond program!

🥎 The Lady Bears softball field also received new turf, with photos coming tomorrow.
🏫 Brewer High School got a fresh new look with new interior paint.
🔧 They're putting the finishing touches on the new Maintenance and Operations Building, and several schools will receive new roofs and HVAC systems.

Mark your calendars for our first community-wide event of the year, the Brewer High School Outta This World Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16. It's a great time to bring your family and friends and celebrate our BHS students! Arrive by 5:45 to save your spot! Gates close early to ensure our parade participants' safety.

The evening will include:
🎉 Parade with 30-plus entries
🚚 Food Trucks - Crazy Burger, Chula's Kitchen, Kona Ice & State Fair Lemonade
📣 Community Pep Rally
- Performances by Honeycomb Drill Team, Band, Choir & Cheerleaders
- Recognition of fall sports teams (Cross Country, 🏈Football, Golf, 🎾Tennis & 🏐Volleyball), Athletic Trainers and Blue Crew.

Shout out to our very own Brewer High School Football Mom Kelly Hill who received the Team Mom Appreciation Award. Dave Campbell's Texas Football teamed up with Welborn Garage Doors to shine the light on deserving Team Moms across Texas.

Kelly received a commemorative football, and a $500 donation was made to the Bears program in her name. Brewer Football Booster Club Brewer Athletics Brewer Cheer

Learn how to have conversations with your teen about opioid and substance use AND get a $50 gift card!

WSISD has partnered with the UNT Health Fort Worth and the City of Fort Worth to provide “How to have difficult conversations about opioids and substance abuse avoidance with your teen!"

Brewer High School and Brewer Middle School families and any community members are encouraged to attend the presentation at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the WSISD Administration Building, 8224 White Settlement Road. Any individual who attends and completes the survey at the end of the training will get a $50 gift card.
