The Urban League of Westchester, in collaboration with Pace University Law School, will be holding a forum to establish meaningful dialogue between Community Members, Law Enforcement and Elected Officials. In light of many recent events, both locally and across the country, tensions have increased between law enforcement and the communities they are charged to protect. The forum’s goal is to improve community safety and communication, all while maintaining a commitment to upholding constitutional rights. This incredible community effort brought volunteers together to pack 2,000+ backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies for children and families across Westchester County facing different challenges.
Every child deserves to start the school year feeling prepared, supported, and ready to succeed.This was a great event to bring people together, give back, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.
