We’re officially collecting raffle basket donations for the Fido Food Truck Festival - and we’re hoping to make this year bigger than ever! Last year, our incredible community helped us put together over 100 raffle baskets… and we’d love to beat that record this year. 🐾

Every basket donated helps raise funds that go directly toward the care of the cats and dogs at our shelter, from food and medical care to enrichment and everything in between.

With the summer weather in full swing, firefighters continue to respond to emergencies and work in challenging conditions where staying hydrated is essential. We are always accepting cases of bottled water donations to help keep our crews hydrated, healthy, and ready to serve when our community needs us most.

We are grateful for the continued support from our neighbors. Every case of water helps make a difference and allows us to continue protecting the community we proudly serve.

A member of our team recently participated in a rigorous 20-hour training course at the Allegheny County Fire Academy. Lieutenant Anderson has completed the second of three courses necessary for rope rescue certification. The Rope Rescue Operations Level training course prepares rescuers for the complexities of rope rescues in varied environments including high and low angle rescues. It builds upon basic knowledge, ensuring rescuers can safely and effectively contribute to rope rescue teams. Lieutenant Anderson will conclude his training at Rope Rescue Technician level training at the end of June. His commitment to continuous training and skill enhancement is exemplary!

For a $100 sponsorship, your business name will be featured on an event banner displayed during the festival, and sponsors will be shouted out on our page reaching over 30 thousand followers! This is a great way to support the cats and dogs in our care, while extending your outreach and connecting with the community.

We are also looking for raffle basket donations! Last year, we had over 100 baskets, and the proceeds directly benefited the animals at our shelter. We would love to make this year’s event even bigger and better for the pets who rely on us.
