Each year the WMVFC Cadet Advisors award one Cadet with the Cadet of the Year Award. The award winner has to demonstrate leadership, dedication and serve as a role model for other Cadets.

The recipient for the Cadet of the Year Award for 2023 was Cadet Lieutenant Ian H.

Ian was the first Cadet to join when the Cadet Program was relaunched 3 years ago. Ian will be graduating the program in March and hopes to follow in his parent’s footsteps and become a Fire fighter.

Ian is pictured with Cadet Advisor Dave Hull.

Congratulations Ian! Keep up the good work!
