Notice: PCRC Meeting Cancellation

The Police Community Relations Council (PCRC) meeting scheduled for January 13th has been cancelled due to the unexpected passing of Detective Paul Hoke.

Detective Hoke was a highly respected 30-year veteran whose dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service left a lasting impact on both the department and the community he faithfully served. He was not only an outstanding detective, but also a mentor, colleague, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Detective Hoke’s family, friends, and the officers who had the honor of working alongside him during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences to all who are mourning this tremendous loss.

The next PCRC meeting is scheduled for February 10th.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

The precinct 09 Officers and Community Outreach Team would like to take a second to make a shout out to one local business. Every year officers from all around the county partner with businesses to help those less fortunate during the holiday season and this year was no different! With that being said, we would like to take a second to say thank you to the owners of Ro’s Toys on Pulaski Hwy for their tremendous support and generosity in these efforts!

Precinct 9 would like to extend our sincere appreciation to TD Line LLC for stepping up in a big way for our officers.

TD Line didn’t just accept a challenge—they embraced it. Through their generosity and hard work, they built a brand-new outdoor fitness area for our personnel, complete with pull-up bars and a dedicated station for dips. This space will support the health, wellness, and readiness of our officers for years to come.

What makes this project truly special is that TD Line, asked for nothing in return. Their willingness to donate time, skill, and materials is a powerful reflection of who they are as a company—selfless, community-minded, and always ready to go above and beyond.

Thank you, TD Line LLC, for investing in those who serve. Your commitment to our precinct is deeply appreciated and will make a lasting impact.

Come out and be part of something special! National Night Out is more than just an event—it’s a chance for neighbors, families, and community members to come together, build relationships, and strengthen the bonds that make our neighborhoods safe and welcoming.

Join your local police officers, first responders, and community leaders for an evening filled with fun, food, music, giveaways, and family-friendly activities. This is your opportunity to meet the people who serve your community, learn about public safety initiatives, and enjoy a positive, uplifting night right in your neighborhood.

Let’s stand together to support safer, stronger communities—because when we know each other, we grow together.
We can’t wait to see you there!
