This past Friday, June 12th in the evening hours the White Lake Fire Company along with our automatic response from Kauneonga Lake Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the White Lake Fire District. Upon arrival 35-2 found a working fire and immediately requested a resound from both departments and a full response from the Smallwood Mongaup Valley Fire Department. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack to contain and control the fire. The town of Thompson Fast team(Monticello and Rock Hill) was called to the scene as well as tankers from Lake Huntington, Swan Lake, and Jeffersonville(with manpower). Also assisting us on scene was the Bethel Volunteer Ambulance Corp, the Bethel Constables, NYSEG, Bethel Code Enforcement, and the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department. A big shout out to the Yulan Fire Department for standing by at our station while we operated.
