💦 Splash Pad Hours Update 💦

As we head further into September, the White House Splash Pad will now be open on weekends only through Sunday, September 27.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The Splash Pad will be closed Monday through Friday.

There are still a few more weekends to enjoy some splash-filled fun before the season wraps up, so make plans to stop by! ☀️💧

Pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, need our help to grow and thrive! Help
us learn more about the species in our area by joining our Parks
for Pollinators BioBlitz event (all September long).

How to participate:
📲 Log into iNaturalist (or create a free account if you’re new!) & follow our project- Parks for Pollinators 2026: City of White House Parks and Recreation. Then, during the month of September, head outside to our parks, trails, and green spaces to snap and upload pictures of plants, insects, birds, and other wildlife you spot.

Every observation you share helps catalogue the rich variety of species that call White House, TN home — and supports pollinator health in our community. 🐝💛

📢 NEW Recreation Center Hours & Entrance Access!

Starting Sunday, September 6, we’re expanding access to the Recreation Center!

NEW Sunday Hours
Members can now enjoy the Recreation Center on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

NEW Lower Entrance Access
The lower entrance will now be open Monday through Saturday during regular operating hours for:
• Member check-ins
• Class registration
• Sports league access to the gymnasium

Need to make a payment, reservation, or purchase a membership? Please visit the main front desk upstairs for assistance.

We hope these updates make visiting the Recreation Center more convenient and accessible. We’ll see you Sunday!

Looking to help the pollinator species in our area? We have the perfect family friendly event for you, as we are hosting our 3rd Annual BioBlitz! Last year you helped us gather data on 160 species, helping inform science and conservation efforts in our area!

The Leisure Service Board will be meeting this coming Thursday (September 3rd) at 7:00pm in the board room at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center, located at 105-D College Street.
