COMMUNITY MEETING Reminder – YOUR VOICE MATTERS 🚨

The Community Advisory Board is urging all residents to attend an important meeting regarding a proposed large-scale battery energy storage project on Jolly Acres Road in White Hall/Norrisville

Wednesday, May 20th - 6:30pm Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company

A proposal has been submitted for a 500MW battery storage facility connected to the Conastone substation near Jolly Acres Roadβ€”right in the heart of our community. This project could become one of the largest of its kind in Maryland and would directly impact Norrisville, Deer Creek, and surrounding areas.

Concerns include:
-Potential environmental risks
-Safety hazards to nearby residents
-Lack of transparency in the approval process

Elected officials will be in attendance, including County Executive Bob Cassilly, Delegate Lauren Arikan, James Reilly, Tony Giangiordano.
This may be one of the only opportunities for residents to speak directly to decision-makers before the state moves forward with evaluations.

If you care about the future of our community, this is the time to show up and be heard.
Please share and spread the word.
