UPDATE

THIS IS MANDATED THROUGH ICC(ILLINOIS COMMERCE COMMISSION) AND IS A REQUIREMENT UNDER THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATION 192.616(b).

Please note that the citizens of White Hall will be receiving a letter from the City of White Hall. It is a mandatory survey that needs to be filled out from each resident. Each homeowner can just drop it off at the post office because no postage is necessary. Should you need assistance filling it out, please call City Hall or bring it with you. We will be happy to help.

The alley behind the City Hall that connects with the alley by the police department is now open and the water leak has been repaired.

If White Hall gets the snow that is forecast, the CITY OF WHITE HALL will be pushing snow. If you do not want your vehicle plowed in, please park somewhere other than the road. Thank you for your cooperation concerning this matter.

The City of White Hall has completed the work on Bridgeport Street, so it will no longer be blocked off or a 1 lane road. Thank you for your understanding!!

STARTING 1/21, 7AM-4PM, Bridgeport St. from Main St. to Carrollton St. will be completely closed for City work; as well as the following day, 1/22. After 4PM each day, the street will be only 1 lane. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

BOIL ORDER IN EFFECT:

The City has repaired the water main break that occurred on West Carlinville Street last night.

A boil order is in effect for residents who reside on West Carlinville Street, between South Carr Street and South Carrollton Street, including residents who reside on Parkview Drive until further notice.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your understanding and patience, and we will update you as soon as the boil order is lifted.

Attention City of White Hall Water Customers:
The City is currently repairing a water main break on West Carlinville Street. Residents who reside on West Carlinville Street, between South Carr Street and South Carrollton Street, including residents who reside on Parkview Drive will be without water until further notice. Utility crews are working hard to restore service to this area as soon as possible.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your understanding and patience as we get this problem resolved.

The City Hall Office will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th & Thursday, December 25th in Observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas.

PUBLIC NOTICE:
We appreciate everyone that is helping out our community members by using equipment to clear the snow. We want to make the community aware that there are gas and water valves in the street which are very costly to replace and the cost of fixing it would fall upon the person responsible for breaking the valve.
