Alabama Department of Public Health COVID-19 Risk Indicator Dashboard: arcg.is/045191 uses a color-coded system to provide guidance on health behaviors. Here are today's statuses for each Alabama county: go.usa.gov/xAyrg (as of January 14).

Data posted on the dashboard are usually updated on Thursdays for data reported through the previous Saturday. Data are lagged to allow for completeness in reporting. Next update: January 21.

COVID-19 cases are continuing to rise across the country. There has been an average of 66 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people in the last 7 days. Additionally, the highest 7-day moving average of new cases per day in the United States since the pandemic started was reported on December 17, with a 7-day average of 220,523 new cases.
This holiday season, stay home and celebrate with people you live with:
- Avoid travel and large gatherings.
- Wear a mask over your nose AND mouth.
- Stay 6 feet away from others.
- Wash your hands with soap and water. Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.

The Town of White Hall presents it’s 1st Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday. Please come out between 3:30-4:30 to sign up for a food bag. You will receive a ticket. Only 1 ticket per household. Also toys and gift cards will be given to the kids. They must be present as well.
