• Heavy snowfall is likely, with accumulations potentially exceeding a foot in parts of our region
• Snow may begin Saturday afternoon and continue through the weekend
• Travel conditions could become difficult to nearly impossible
• Single-digit temperatures are expected, increasing the risk of cold-related emergencies
If you can reschedule non-essential travel, now is the best time to do so. If you must travel due to an emergency, please be prepared.
🧤 Winter Travel Safety Tips:
✔️ Keep your gas tank at least half full
✔️ Carry extra blankets, hats, and gloves
✔️ Have food, water, and any necessary medications
✔️ Bring a phone charger or battery pack
✔️ Keep snow and ice clear from your vehicle’s exhaust to prevent carbon monoxide buildup
✔️ Let someone know your route and expected arrival time
🏠 At Home:
• Check on elderly neighbors and family members
• Ensure heating systems are working properly
• Keep space heaters away from combustible materials
Our crews will be monitoring conditions closely and are prepared to respond as safely and quickly as possible. Please stay tuned to this page for updates as the storm develops.

Today marks the second day of our EMT class, and these 13 students from four different counties are officially on the path toward earning their Ohio EMT certification.

We’re excited to be part of their journey into emergency medicine and look forward to watching their skills and confidence grow throughout the course.

Best of luck to all of our students—we’re proud to train the next generation of EMS providers!

One of the biggest takeaways from this project is the value of partnering with local schools that offer hands-on programs like this. These collaborations give students real-world experience while helping public safety agencies stretch resources and improve training. If you have programs like this in your community, don’t hesitate to reach out—you may be surprised how much everyone benefits.
